Rescued

Bible

Trapped.

Bound.

Fear and doubt

and darkness

and hopelessness.

Shame and regret.

SIN

SELFISHNESS

and

SEPARATION from the God who created me.

Who LOVES me.

WHO RESCUES ME.

From sin.

From myself.

Return to your rest, my soul,
for the Lord has been good to you.

For You, Lord, rescued me from death,
my eyes from tears,
my feet from stumbling.

I will walk before the Lord
in the land of the living.  Psalm 116:7-9

REDEEMED.

Overwhelming gratitude.

“I will give thanks with all my heart…” Psalm 138:1

“For while we were still helpless, at the appointed moment,

Christ died for the ungodly.”  Romans 5:8

***I had the privilege of leading a young girl to Christ last night, and these words came to me as I was driving home.  I had a vivid reminder of my own conversion and this feeling of being rescued and the gratitude that I have for my Savior, and what a joy it is to see Him at work… #GODISSTILLONTHETHRONE
