Genesis 20 vs 17

So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare children.

Numbers 16 vs 46

And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the Lord; the plague is begun.

Genesis 20:17 So Abraham prayed to God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bore children.
  1. The Bible says everyone in the household of Abimelech was barren because he took over Sarah, Abraham’s wife.
  2. The Bible also says that when Abraham prayed to God, God healed Abimelech and every one of his household members from barrenness.
  3. This was after Abimelech realised his mistakes and sought repentance from God.
  4. The lesson here is that God forgives any time you confess your sin.
  5. Another lesson is that it is good for people to intercede for you. Abraham intercedes for Abimelech.
  6. When you are looking for intercessors, look for those that are righteous to God.
  7. Another lesson is that God answers prayer. When Abraham prayed to God, God answered.
