And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.

- They were watching his movements and observing his words.
- They came in disguise, pretending to be his followers.
- Just as it happens to Jesus in our offices and neighbourhood, there are many unfriendly friends that you need to be conscious of.
- Some people may be recording your conversation to gain favour from others.
- Some people may push you to make mistakes in your workplace to take your position.
- You must always pray that the Holy Spirit should protect you from spiritual and physical spies in Jesus’ name.
