“But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.” John 15:26
In our day-to-day life, we all need a helper in the different aspects. We need guidance in the path we take, wisdom in ever decisions we make and the courage to face the challenges we meet. True enough, the Lord understood that being human in this fallen world means walking lost with no direction without a helper, and as Jesus Christ promised, he will send a helper, the Lord Holy Spirit.
The Spirit helps us in many areas that we must realize. The spirit knows what we feel, it consoles and prays with us, the spirit speaks to us in many ways to convict, teach and guide us in every thought we process and in every step of the way. We have a helper; we are not alone if we live by and live with the Lord Holy Spirit.
Ultimately, the Lord Holy Spirit is, while in flesh, gives us the spirit of sonship, making us no longer orphans but rather sons and daughters of the Heavenly Father. It empowers us to walk in towards the will of the Lord, to the truth and to the real life, and more importantly, it brings power unto us to be witnesses for the Lord Jesus Christ! Today, be encouraged to know that you have a helper, believe, and trust the Lord’s work and intervention in our lives through the Spirit and may we seek more of His presence and communion every day.
