“He entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of his own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption.” Hebrews 9:12 ESV
God, the one who made all things, for everything comes from Him. But when darkness shadowed men into despair and damnation, the one who made all things beautiful, redeems all humanity by his very own blood, Jesus Christ. The devil was wise that he burdened humanity, but just as he thought he succeeded, the Lord triumphed in victory by giving men an escape from darkness to light in Jesus Christ. Imagine before, we have to do a lot of sacrifices to be cleansed, the blood of goats and calves, but that ended and it was the blood of Jesus Christ that cleansed the past, present and the future.
What then will be the effect of this wonderful redemption? We have access to freedom. All who walk in darkness will have hope to see the light in Jesus. And all those who trust in the Lord will find refreshment and strength in the power of His name through faith, while we wait for His glorious return.
This is God’s great redemption – and in the future, we live with hope and walk in faith while we face the present. This is the redemption of the Great I am, who made all things above us and below us. May you be refreshed by the good news and may you relay this encouragement to all those who seek true freedom and love that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
