False accusations are not a new thing. Way back in the Old Testament, people got into conflicts, sometimes involving families, just because of false accusation. In the New Testament, when Jesus preached the good news, healed the sick, and fed the poor, he was falsely accused.
Being falsely accused does not feel okay because even the closest people you know would question your integrity. However, as children of God we should expect troubles, false accusations, and even disputes to come. If our Lord suffered all of them, then we need to prepare as well.
People who do not care about our faith want our testimony to be tainted and ruined. If our lives are already in question, anything we do or say would not have any impact anymore. But as long as we carry on and continue serving the Lord, He will be the one to clear our name in front of everyone.
