As we can learn from reading the Bible, ever since mankind fell into sin, doing evil deeds has become a second nature for most people. As a Christian, how do you respond to evil actions and evil people?
Jesus Christ reminded His disciples not to take revenge or react negatively no matter what other people do against them. As children of God, they were expected to turn the other cheek, forgive, and even pray for their enemies. In this time and age, we share the same mandate from our Savior.
If we are to successfully spread the gospel of salvation, and share God’s love to everyone around us, they have to see something different in the faith we are offering. The goal is not to make them change their ways by fighting them or taking revenge, but for them to understand the gospel and place their faith on Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
