There are people who think they can make it on their own without asking help from anyone. That may be true in a given time period, but it does not work all the time. Man was created by God to be a social being due to our imperfections. These imperfections allow us to work together with others who lack in other areas.
Another reason we need each other is that we are expected to encourage one another in times of trouble and sorrow. It is in Paul’s epistles that the words “encourage”, “build up” and “work together” pertained to the church. It is through church fellowship and worship that we can encourage one another in this problem-filled world.
How do we encourage ourselves? The Bible offers a great amount of wisdom that can help struggling Christians go through these trials and sufferings.
