If there is just one thing that a follower and servant of God should know in the Bible, it is what He wants for him to do. Knowing, understanding, and carrying God’s perfect will are three very different things. Some people recognize God’s will, some understand it, but only a few actually go through it.
the Apostle Paul mentions in his epistle to the Ephesians that is through filling of the Holy Spirit, and not of the flesh, can one understand the will of the Lord. This requires wisdom and courage, because God may allow you to go through different hardships of life.
There are three different “wills” of God as mentioned in Romans 12. One is good, another is acceptable, and the last is perfect or complete. As a follower of Christ, our aim is to carry out what God wants us to do.
