A large part of Scripture teaches its readers about God’s love for mankind. Another large part shows the importance of loving each other. Love is one of the most distinctive attributes of God, and this kind of love is unconditional and ever persevering.
God has already showcased His love for mankind, and He continues to invite people to experience this love through His Son, Jesus Christ. However, it does not stop there. Those who have experienced Christ’s love should do the same to others.
Jesus told His disciples that the only way for unbelievers to recognize believers is for them to demonstrate their love for one another. But Christians are not just commanded to love one another, they are also instructed to love their enemies.
