The Bible is not a subjective book, meaning it does not teach variations of the truth that are open to various interpretations. When the Scripture talks about truth, it is always absolute. There is no other truth apart from what the Bible claims and says.
Why is that so? Because God is also absolute. There is no truth aside from Him. Jesus said in John 14:6 that He is the truth, and not a truth, which is among many. A person who reads the Bible is guided to know the truth by the Holy Spirit, enabling him to see the world from God’s perspective.
Truth is not relative to anyone or anything, but remains an absolute thing as far as God is concerned. Beware of people saying that there are different versions of the truth. Both God and the Bible agree that the truth is absolute and that truth can only be revealed by the Holy Spirit.
