Some people depend on others to know their worth and importance in this world. However, the Bible shows how it is done properly. When a person believes and accepts Jesus as the only Savior, he becomes a child of God. Christ’s sacrifice on the cross indeed made it possible for a sinner to draw near to the Father.
This child, adopted into the family of God, would then be trained to be an instrument, fit for the Master’s use. He is also a servant, taking the pattern of the Lord Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry.
The Apostle Paul gives an accurate description of the state of a Christian after salvation. In Galatians 2:20, the Bible says that he is crucified with Christ, and that Jesus lives within him. Now that he realizes what God has done for him, he would start living for God.
