With all the troubles and problems that come our way on a daily basis, it isn’t surprising that we sometimes feel overwhelmed and stressed. When stress and fear build up, we begin to worry. Worrying and anxiety go together. They are often experienced by planners who want everything to go based on how they expected things to be. They use common sense, logic and analytical thinking to get out of situations.
Unfortunately, we cannot know for sure that everything will go according to our plan. Life is arbitrary, and some things happen for reasons we cannot explain for now. But when such situations happen, God often tests us to trust in Him instead, not our plans.
So what does the Bible say about worrying and feeling anxious?
